Our 'Out of Hours' provider is Moorview Referrals Vets.

Outside of our opening hours, Moorview Referrals will provide emergency care and advice for you, should you and your pet need it, when we are closed. They will also provide overnight care for our patients, should we deem this necessary. They are a dedicated emergency and referral business with vets and nurses on site at all times, which enables them to provide emergency and critical care to their patients to an extremely high standard.

As Moorview Referrals is a separate business from Coquet Vets, any costs and payments incurred with them will need to be paid to them directly or claimed from your insurance via Moorview Referrals.

Transport: We do not provide transport for pets when our clinic is closed. If an 'in patient' needs a transfer to Moorview Referrals during the day, where possible, Moorview Referrals requests that the patient be transported to them by the client. If the patient is unstable or transport is an issue, we will endeavour to either transport the animal ourselves or use a pet taxi service.
