Have you got a young dog or puppy and want to make sure you do everything right? Has it been a while since you had a puppy? Or would you just like to recap and get some tips in training and looking after your dog? Then this could be the course for you.

We are running a unique young dog and puppy course for owners, which incorporates both educational and practical aspects, as well as training to ensure you are fully equipped to enjoy being a responsible dog owner.

The course will be run over two days. The first morning session is theory-based and includes information on:

  • Crate training

  • Obedience/manners

  • Feeding

  • Toilet training

  • Exercise

  • Lead walking

  • Recall and dog laws

  • Why we vaccinate

  • Dental care

  • Parasite prevention

  • Feeding / nutrition

  • Basic first aid

  • Insurance

For the second morning session, we invite you to bring your dog with you and we will do basic training to include top-to-toe examination, recall, lead walking, and basic first aid.

DETAILS & COSTS

  • £150 per course

  • Includes: 2 x morning sessions from 8.30am -12.30pm

  • Two people per dog can attend. Dogs must be between 12 weeks and 6 months of age.
